REDACT has no login, no email sign-up, no account to create, and nothing to install. You just open the page, drop in a video, and go. There is no profile, no dashboard, and no "free trial" — what you see is the whole tool.
Everything happens on your machine
This site is a single web page. The face-detection model is downloaded once and then runs locally inside your browser using WebGL. Your video is read, analyzed, and blurred entirely in your browser's memory.

What happens to your data
Nothing. The page sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and keeps no database of users or videos. The processed video is generated by your browser and saved straight to your computer as a download. When you close the tab, everything is gone.
The honest fine print
The only requests your browser makes are fetching this page and loading the face-detection model from a CDN. Neither touches your video. An internet connection is needed to load the page and the model, but once it's running, your file is processed on-device, in real time, with nothing sent anywhere.
